To expand on this thought of, soulmates everywhere and all around us; photography has always had a hold in my life. It is a great love of mine. I’ve loved taking photographs and videos since I can remember. I love having a physical touch with the camera, and seeing through my own eyes into its lens.  Documenting the current and looking at it from the future is a beautiful sentiment. In my photography experiences I’ve curated sets, styled outfits, done hair and makeup, posed models, made visions come to life, opened the doorway for women to feel beautiful in their photography session, and encouraged people to feel like the piece of art they are. I am so inspired by fashion, the natural world, and the unique beautiful each person carries. These things combined allow me to create work I am really proud of. 

 

Outside of fashion, beauty, product or portrait photography, I really enjoy photographing natural elements and the natural world. In my daily walks on the beach I take note of what has changed day to day. This looks like what the tide is doing, how are the waves breaking, how does the sand look and feel, what birds are around, how many crabs do I see in the sand? When I’m in my element between these worlds (and this goes beyond where the ocean meets the sea) I love to capture the beauty that I am actively living in and involved with. Being in the natural world is my sacred place, its where I find myself again and again.
